Southern Cross Ten, 8.30pmIF Wisteria Lane was a cul-de-sac on a military base, then it might look something like this.This very watchable 13-part US drama is set at a fictional military post called Fort Marshall.It is based on the book Army Wives: The Unwritten Code of Military Marriage by Tanya Biank, and has already been a big hit in the US.The central characters are Roxy LeBlanc, Claudia Joy Holden, Denise Sherwood (Catherine Bell, pictured) and Pamela Moran.Friendships are formed, politics develop and play out on the army base, and occasionally the soldiers their deployed husbands don't come home.
